Hi, welcome to Jenny’s Child Care & Play!

I’m a strong believer that early childhood education plays a fundamental role in shaping a child's life, and at the heart of this education is the power of play. Meaningful play is the key to effective learning for children. With utmost dedication, I am committed to creating a stimulating, positive, and safe environment that fosters both play and learning for every child. My passion lies in the field of early childhood education, which is evident through my academic pursuits. I have completed both my undergraduate and master's degrees in Early Childhood Studies, with a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Studies from Ryerson University and a Master of Education from York University. Currently, I am actively engaged in graduate research with York University, focusing on the social-emotional development of young children. One aspect that captivates me is the enchantment of live oral storytelling and its profound ability to promote resilience, self-regulation, and co-regulation in children. In our preschool program, we not only prioritize language development in multiple languages but also provide ample opportunities for children to immerse themselves in the world of live storytelling - listening to stories and mastering the art of storytelling themselves.
